Calculate the (w/v) % of a solution containing 10 g of solute present in 90 g of solvent. Ifthe density of the solution is 1.33g / c * c .​

Answer : Weight of solute = 10 g

weight of solvent = 90 g

weight of solution = 100 g

Density of solution = 1.33 g/ml or cc

D= M/V

V=M/D

=100/1.33

=75.18 ml of solution

W/V % of solution = weight of solute / volume of solution * 100

10*100/75.18

= 13.3 % w/v
