calculate the water pressure and the thrust at the bottom of a tank whose length width and the depth are 2m,1.5 and 1 m respectively

Pressure = hdg
= 1 m × 10³ kg/m³ × 9.8 m/s²
= 9800 Pa
= 9.8 kPa
Pressure at bottom of tank is 9.8 kPa

Thrust = Pressure × Area
= 9.8 kPa × (2 m × 1.5 m)
= 29.4 kN
Thrust at bottom of tank is 29.4 kN
