Answer :- 20 m

Electromagnetic waves travels at the speed of light.

v = f λ where v = velocity , f = frequency , λ = wavelength

v = 3 x 10^{8}

f = 15 x 10^{6}

λ = v /f = 3 x 10^{8} / 15 x 10^{6}

λ = 20 m

The wavelength of electromagnetic wave is 20 meters.

Given - Frequency

Find - Wavelength

Solution - The wavelength and frequency are connected by the formula -

c = f×lambda. In this formula, c refers to speed of light, f refers to frequency and lambda is representative of wavelength.

As per the known fact, speed of light is 3×10⁸ m/s.

Converting frequency to Hertz. We know, 1 MHz = 10⁶ Hz

So, 15 MHz = 15×10⁶ Hz

Now, keep the values in formula to find the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave.

Wavelength =  \frac{3 \times  {10}^{8} }{15 \times  {10}^{6} }

Wavelength =  \frac{ {10}^{2} }{5}

Wavelength = 20 meters.

Hence, the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave of given frequency is 20 meters.
