wavelegnth = velocity / frequency

wavelegnth = 440 / 220

w.l = 2 m

given : frequency = 1/t= 220 Hz.
            speed = 440 m.
to find : wavelength.
solution: speed = distance / time taken.
according to the question distance is the wavelength. so,
          speed = wavelength / time
              440 = wavelength x 1/t
            440  =  wavelength x 220
therefore wavelength is equal to 440/220 = 2 m.
