calculate the weight of a body of mass 40kg

given, mass = 40kg

weight = mg

= 40 kg ×10m/s^2

= 400 N or newton

Hi friend!!

Weight is defined as the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity.

Weight=m×g

=40×9.8

=392N
