The weight of an object of mass 15kg on earth is 150 Newton

Given:

  • Mass of an object = 15 kg
  • g = 10 m/s²

To Find:

  • weight of the object

Solution:

  • W = mg
  • W = Weight
  • m = mass
  • g = acceleration due to gravity

Use formula W = mg and substitute

m = 15 kg

g = 10 m/s²

W = 15(10)

W = 150 kg m/s²

W = 150 Newton

Hence,  the weight of an object of mass 15kg on earth is 150 Newton
