1 mol of CO2 has a mass of 44 g
So 22 g CO2 will be 0.5 mol

1 mol of CO2 contains 2 mol of oxygen atoms
So 0.5 mol will contain 1 mol of oxygen atoms

1 mol of CO contains 1 mol of oxygen atoms, just the amount we need.
1 mol of CO weighs 28 g (12+16)
