Balanced Equation :
3Fe + 4 H2O -----> Fe3O4 + H2
3 moles of Fe reacts with 4 moles of steam to give 1 mole of Fe3O4
Number of moles of Steam in 14.4g:
=14.4/18
=0.8 moles
∴Number of moles of Fe that react with 0.8 mole of steam are:
=0.8*3/4
= 0.6 moles of iron will react with 0.8 moles of steam.
Since 1 mole of Fe weighs = 56g
0.6 moles of Fe weighs=0.6*56
=33.6g of Fe
∴ 33.6 g of Fe will be converted into its oxide ( Fe3O4) by the action of 14.4g of steam on it

Answer:
33.6g of Fe
Explanation:
3 mol of Fe reacts with 4 mol of steam
ie,3/4 mole of Fe reacts with 1 mol of steam
number of moles in 14.4 g of steam=14.4/18=0.8 moles
therefore..0.8 mole os steam reacts with 0.8×3/4 = 0.6 mol of Fe
weight of iron= O.6 ×56 =33.6g
