Moles of Nitrogen = Weight / Molar mass

= 7 g / (28 g/mol)

= 0.25 mol

Pressure = 750 mm Hg

= (750/760) atm ………[∵ 1 atm = 760 mm Hg]

= 75/76 atm

From ideal gas equation

V = nRT/P

= (0.25 mol × 0.0821 atm.L / (mol K) × 300 K) / (75/76 atm)

= 6.2396 liters

Volume occupied by gas is 6.2396 liters
