Given: 0.01 molal Sloution

Molality = No. of moles/mass of solvent in kg

⇒0.01 = n/0.25

⇒n=0.0025

Molecular Weight of NaCl=23+35.5 = 58.5 a.m.u

⇒ Weight = No. of moles * Molecular Weight

⇒Weight = 0.0025*58.5=0.14625g

The Weight of NaCl = 0.14625 grams

shaikmohaseen: the vapour - pressure of ethanol and methanol are 44.5 and 88.7 mm of Hg respectively. an ideal solution is formed at the same temperature by the mixing 60g of ethanol with 40g of methanol. Calculate the total vapour - pressure of the solution and mole fraction of methanol in the vapour. how do they answer
