Calculate the weight of quicklime formed when 300 g of calcium carbonate is heated.

Mass of 1 mole of CaCO3 = 40*1 + 12*1 + 16*3

= 100 g

so ,

300g = 300/100 = 3 moles of CaCO3 is produced
