Hi, please consider the answer given below;

So the work done is 1717.63 j

The work done by 2 mole of an ideal gas at 298K in a reversible isothermal expansion from 10 litres to 20 litres.

W = 2.3026 RT log(V2/V1) in this case; V1 = initial volume

V2 = final volume and W = work done

W = 2.303 x 8.314 x 298 log(20/10)

W = 1717.63 j
