Calculate the work done by a boy in lifting a 10 kg laptop from the ground and keeping it on a shelf 1.5 m high. (g = 10)​

the work will be done against the gravity.

hence,the work done on the laptop will be equal to the change in it's gravitational potential energy.

mass of laptop = 10kg

height of the shelf = 1.5m

acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s^

work done on the laptop = mass × gravity × height

therefore, work done = 147 joules.
