F=mg
=20×9.8
= 196kg.m/s^2
then
work done=F×s
= 196×1
=196 joule

Work done = Change in potential energy

= mg (h₂ - h₁)

= 20 kg × 9.8 m/s² × (1 m - 0 m)

= 196 Joule

Work done to lift the load is 196 Joule
