Calculate the work done by a person in lifting a load of 20 kg from the ground and placing it 1m high on a table.

Work done = Change in potential energy

= mg (h₂ - h₁)

= 20 kg × 9.8 m/s² × (1 m - 0 m)

= 196 Joule

Work done to lift the load is 196 Joule
