Correct Question :-

Calculate the work done if a load of 30 kg is lifted through 10m take g = 9.8 m/s²

_____________________

Given :-

  • Mass of the load, m = 30 kg
  • gravitational acceleration, g = 9.8 m/s²
  • Displacement, s = 10 m

To Find :-

  • work done for lifting the load ?

Solution :-

we know that,

 \boxed{ \bold{force = mass  \times acceleration}} \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies 30 \times 9.8 } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies 294 \: N} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, force of 294 N is required for lifting the load

 \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{work  = force \times displacement}}}

 \bold{: \implies 294 \times 10 } \\  \\  \bold{: \implies 2940 \:  J}   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

hence, work done to lift the load is 2940 Joules
