Potential difference = V2 – V1 =230V – 220V = 10 V.

Work done = Potential difference × Charge moved.

= 10 × 4 = 40 joule.

Answer:

We know by the above that V = W/Q

So, the needed potential difference = 230 - 220 = 10 V

Charge = 4 C

10 = W/4

W = 40 J

So the work done is 40 J
