Magnitude of the force =F

Required velocity = constant

Since the velocity is constant the acceleration is 0.

Now, coefficient of friction= û

Let us take the mass of block be m

Force of friction =ûN

where N is normal reaction. and N =ûmg

Distance=d

So Net force = F -ûmg

=> F net = m × a - ûmg

=> F net = - ûmg ( a=0)

And Work = F net × s

where s is displacement.

=> W = Fnet × s

=> W = × ûmg ×s

=> W =ûmgs
