Distance moved by box = 50 m

Force acting on box = 250 N

★ Work done = force × displacement

= 250×50 = 12500 J

Answer...

Formula for work done

W = F x s

W = 250 x 50

W = 12500 J

or

W = 12.5 x 10³ J

★The work done is negative because force of friction and displacement are in opposite directions.
