p=mgh
p or w= 300×-10×10
w=-30000N

steph25: answer is 3.15 k j

Hello dear,

◆ Answer-
W = 3.15 kJ

◆ Explaination-
# Given-
F = 300 N
a = 0.5 m/s^2
g = 10 m/s^2

# Solution-
Weight of the body is-
Weight = mg
300 = m × 10
m = 30 kg

To lift the weight, total acceleration is-
a' = a + g
a' = 0.5 + 10
a' = 10.5 m/s^2

Work done in lifting weight is calculated by-
W = ma'h
W = 30× 10.5 × 10
W = 3150 J
W = 3.15 kJ

Therefore, work done in lifting the weight is 3150 J.

Hope this helps...
