Calculate water potential of solution which is enclosed in a semi permeable membrane whose Osmotic Potential is -35 bar and Pressure Potential is -5 bar.

The amount of solute present in a solution is called Osmotic concentration, which is measured in terms of molarity. If two solutions of different concentration are separated by living cell membrane; the solution, which has greater water potential, tends to loose water to the solution where the water potential is low
