Explanation:

work = mass x distance

= 10 × 200

= 2000 Joule

Given:

Moving body of mass 10 kg moves for with distance 200 metres .

To find:

  • Work done ?

Calculation:

We can calculation two types of work :

  • Gravitational Work
  • Operator Work

Lets assume that the object was pushed/pulled with force F .

So, gravitational work will be :

W_{gravity} = f_{gravity} \times d \times \cos( {90}^{ \circ} )

 \implies W_{gravity} = f_{gravity} \times d \times 0

 \implies W_{gravity} = 0

So, gravitational work done is zero joule.

Now, operator work will be :

W_{op} = f_{op} \times d \times \cos( {0}^{ \circ} )

 \implies W_{op} = F\times d

So, operator work will be F × d .
