Explanation:

Mass of object, M = 40kg

Velocity,             v = 36 km/hr

                          v =36\times\frac{5}{18}

                          v = 10 m/s

kinetic energy change into workdone,

Kinetic energy,KE = w =\frac{1}{2}{M\times v^{2}}

                              = \frac{1}{2}\times {40 \times100}

                              = 2000 j.
