Equivalent resistance = 21 Ω

Current = 0.48 A ( approximately)

Potential difference across 2Ω = 0.96 V, 3Ω = 1.44 V, 6 Ω = 2.88 V And      8Ω = 3.84 V

Explanation:

Given, Battery = 10 V

Resistors are in series  2Ω,3Ω,6Ω,8Ω,2Ω

Equivalent resistance is R = R₁ +R₂+ R₃+ R₄ + R₅

R = 2+3+6+8+2

=> R = 21 Ω

By Ohm's Law V=IR

=> I =\frac{V}{R}

=> I = \frac{10}{21}

=> I = 0. 48     ( approximately)

Potential drop across each resistor is given as   V = I R

  1.  Across  2Ω => 2* 0.48 = 0.96 V
  2. Across  3Ω => 3* 0.48 = 1.44 V
  3. Across  6Ω => 6* 0.48 = 2.88 V
  4. Across  8Ω => 8* 0.48 = 3.84 V
  5. Across  2Ω => 2* 0.48 = 0.96 V
