RPM can be converted to Shear Rate. The conversion factor depends on the spindle and viscometer you are using. It is provided with the viscometer manual. Shear Rate and Shear Stress are proportional for Newtonian fluids. The proportionality constant is considered as viscosity. SR = v*SR where SR = shear rate, v = viscosity and SR = shear rate.
