In the graph, the voltage is plotted along the y-axis and the current is plotted along the x-axis. In the given example, the current I against the potential difference V, is a straight line with constant slope 1/R as the relation is linear and ohmic. That is, the remains constant for varying values of voltage and current.

The resistance can be found using the ohm's law which states R=V/I=0.5/0.2 or1.0/0.4, etc will give 2.5 ohms.

Hence, the resistance is 2.5 ohms.
