Using Johnson's formula is within 10% of the actual birth weight it is considered accurate. And if at least 60% of the EFW by Johnson's formula are accurate it will be used by our community. ... We recommend using the formula: Estimated fetal weight (gm) = 2600 + 115(symphysis fundal height (cm) - 30).
