Hey there,

Tangential acceleration -It is responsible for change of speed in curve .
➡a (tangential)=dv/dt=r(dω/dt)

Normal/radial/centripetal acceleration=>It is responsible for change in direction of speed(or change in velocity).

➡a(normal)=v^2/r=rω^2 ,where r=radius of curvature of trajectory

Hope it helps.
