Calculator i turn on the screen and it works for a second then it turns back off. It does it all the time.

Hey it can be a problem of the battery of the calculator. You can try by changing the batteries of your calculator. Then it may work better. Alternatively you can try by keeping the calculator under sun light for quite a long time. Then turn on the screen. It will probably work much better because sunlight is a source of power that can charge the calculator.
