Molar mass of Hydrogen molecule (H₂) = 2 g
No : of moles = 0.5 moles

No : of moles = given mass / molar mass

mass = molar mass × no: of moles
         = 2 × 0.5
         = 1 g

First calculate the weight of H2.
(H=1)
Therefore H2= 1*2=2.
1 mole=2g
Then
0.5 mole=1g
There 0.5 mole=1g.

Hope this helps!
