You just need the molecular weight of CO2, which you can find by adding up the molecular mass of Oxygen and Carbon in the correct proportions.
(22 g) / (44.01 g/mol) =~ 0.5 mol CO2
Since 1 mole of CO2 is 44 g... and you have 1/2 of a mole, you have one half the number of molecules in one mole; 6.02 x 10^23/ 2. Since there is only 1 carbon atom in each molecule, this is your answer. thus 22gm CO2 has 3.011x10^23 C atoms.

For CO2:
44 g=1 mole.
So, 22 g=22/44=0.5 mole.
44 g = 6.022 x 10^23 molecules.
22 g = 6.022 x 10^23/44 x 22
= 3.011 x 10^23 molecules
