See first there is a given sample of 100gm of CO2 therefore you need to calculate the no. of moles present in that sample by:-

                  No. of moles= 100/44 (given wt./molar wt.)=2.27 moles

        Now use this formula,

                                 No. of entities = No. of moles * no. of entities in the given sample.

                                                     = 2.27 * 16 = 36.32 but now e can't be in fraction therefore take it as 36.
