If p(x) is divided by (x-a), then remainder = p(a)
p(x) means a polynomial with variable x.
a variable is an alphabet whose value is not constant means its value varies.
Example of finding remainder by remainder theorem:-
1. p(x)=(x³-6x²+9x+2) is divided by (x-1)
p(1) = remainder
=(1)³-6(1)²+9(1)+2
=1-6+9+2
=6
Therefore, remainder is 6
