camel excrete or dung is hard and dry what is the reason

As camels live in a desert where the water is scarce. Camel's dung is dry because they need to store water in their body for many day and it cannot afford to waste water in such a dry area. So , camel saves water in its hump for future and excretes its faeces very dry.
