she gave erin=half of x
=1/2x
now she has x-1/2x basketballso
then she gave her brother =1/6 (x-1/2x)
=1/6×x/2
=x/12
now x-(1/2x+x/12)=150(solving the equation)
= 5x/12=150
=x=360
all basketballs=360
