Answers
Answer:
A Shadow is one of R. K. Narayan's well-known writings. The reflection of someone or something is what the word "shadow" literally means. The term "shadow" in this lesson, however, has a metaphorical meaning that refers to the widow's husband's traumatic (unpleasant) past experiences, which have followed her around like a shadow.
A movie will be released in which Sambu's father plays a hero. Sambu really enjoys the movie. He is looking forward to the movie's release because he has missed his father since his passing. He enjoys every second of the movie when he watches it in the theater.
He is overjoyed to see his father moving around, getting dressed, singing, and doing everything. He thinks back to his previous interactions with his father at home as he observes his father's interaction with a girl named Kumari. Even after the movie is over, he expresses extreme disappointment and looks at the theatre as if his father has disappeared inside of it. He watches the film every day because he wants to.
Sambu's mother, on the other hand, does not even want to watch her husband again in a movie because he recently passed away. She actually does not despise her husband; instead, she simply does not want to think back on her previous interactions with him.
She only to the theatre to see the movie because her son Sambu keeps nagging her to. He finds it quite uncomfortable to sit in the theatre and musters all of her strength to take a seat in the hallway. When she observes her spouse moving around, getting dressed, singing, and engaging in child play, her heart begins to race. She perceives the show as an illness (a source of suffering) for her. She eventually (finally) faints because she can't stand to watch the movie.
