Due to the sublimation.
When camphor is heated it get sublime I. e, it changes directly from solid to vapour without leaving any residue . This process of conversion of a solid substance directly on vapour on heating is called sublimation and the substance which undergoes sublimation is called sublime.
Ex :- Camphor,Naphthalene,Ammonium chloride all are sublime substance.
In case of sublimation of camphor it get changes in to its vapour without leaving any residue and get disappears due to property of sublimation.
