the direct change of solid to gas and vice versa is known as sublimation.camphor is a sublimable substance it means that it changes it's state without any external heat.it is also called as a volatile substance

Camphor is a volatile substance. It is volatile in nature because it changes directly to gaseous state from solid state. 
Camphor is waxy, flammable and white. It contains products that are likely unsafe for applying to injured skin. It is called as "Kapur" in hindi.
