can 40 degree,140 degree,120 degree and 100 degree be the angle of a quadrilateral ? why ?

No; 40°,140°,120° and 100° cannot be the angles of a quadrilateral.

If we add 40°,140°,120° and 100° we get 400°

But angle sum property of a quadrilateral states that the sum of angles of a quadrilateral is 360°
