yes. for example a car is moving with a acceleration of 100ms-2 and a velocity of 50 ms-1
then the acceleration starts to decrease. but the velocity is still increasing.
another example is a body in a free fall
the velocity is constantly changing but the acceleration is still constant I.e. 10ms+2
