can a body have dimensions but still have no units
Answers
Explanation:
This “peripheral” area has been developed and gradually improved during 300 years and resulted in the International System of Units (ISU), which is one of the main reasons to the success and development of science and engineering of the developed world. Furthermore, the educational system in natural sciences has gained a lot from the standardization of ISU.
However, personally I think there is still room for improvement here. The ISU can be developed. There are still unresolved issues. One of my favourites is the topic of angle which conventionally is respected to be dimensionless, that Robert Cruikshank mentioned, but still having a unit. In general, there are a number of things that could improve the understanding about the ISU in my opinion. Sorry for giving long answer
