Can a body have multiple motions at a time. explain with examples?

✒ there are multiple examples were a body and can have more than two types of motion at the same time such as translational motion and rotational motion both at the same time.

✒ one such example that can be given is of a moving ball.

✒ when a force acts on a stationary rigid body which is free to move the body starts moving in a straight path in the direction of the po po this is called the linear or translational motion.
one such example of this is seen in a moving ball.

✒ now moving to the next part of the question now when we see that a ball moves like it to moves in a circular path so on its on its Axis hence hence we can say that rotational motion is also executed here.

✒ on comparing both the translational motion and rotational motion of the ball we can say that the ball is moving both in translation translational motion and in rotational motion hence multiple motions are acting on a same body in the same period of time
