without mass their will be no weight because
w=mg
w= 0kg.9.8m/s2
w=0N
there will be no weight if there is no mass
w=mg
w= 0kg.9.8m/s2
w=0N
there will be no weight if there is no mass

Hi Friend!!
we all know that Weight is directly proportional to mass and acceleration due to gravity.
We can write it mathematically as, weight= mass X gravity
w=mg
Now, let us assume that the body is massless. So mass = 0
we know the value of 'g' on earth = 9.8m/s^2
So, w= (0 X 9.8 )N
=0N
thus, the weight automatically becomes 0 N
Hence, it is clearly not possible for a body to have no mass but still have weight!!
hope that clears your doubt?!
