can a body have some distance when displacement is zero? why?

ownsky: yes body has some distance when when object travels on straight line

Yes absolutely body have some distance .
Because distance may not be zero but displacement may .

SupriyaPeshave: Yes because distance is the measured from let's take from A to B but displacement is from A to A

Before know about this , let's know the basic definition of distance and displacement.

DISTANCE:- Total path covered by a body from the initial position to the final position is called distance.

whereas,

DISPLACEMENT:- THE SHORTEST DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO POINTS IS CALLED AS DISPLACEMENT.

Now, look at the image that I have attached.

The body starts form the initial position and again reached to it initial position as final position.

So, if there is circular motion, then distance will be some whole number whereas , displacement will be zero.
