yes it can happen .... when a body is thrown upward with some velocity u .. ..and after some time it reaches it's maximum height then it's velocity is zero at maximum height but acceleration is still 'g' i.e g= 9.8 m/s^2..
so we can say that at maximum height velocity is zero but acceleration is some finite constant.
