Can a body have zero velocity and still be accelerating? Give reason

When an object is thrown upwards, then at the maximum height, velocityof body is zero at that instant but ithas acceleration due to gravity. So, at the highest point for a body thrown upwards, velocity is zero andacceleration is equal to g (9.8 ms^-2) in downward direction.
