Can a body have zero velocity and still be acclerating? If yes give any situatuon.

If you throw a stone vertically upwards, the at a point it will come to rest due to gravity and will start falling. At that topmost position of its motion, it will have 0 velocity but gravitational acceleration(g) will still be acting on it.

Throw a solid metal or rock straight up. At its highest point, right when it stops to come back towards the earth, its velocity is zero -- but it has gravity's acceleration pulling it back down. ............
