Can a body have zero velocity but still possess acceleration? If yes, give an eg. :)

Yes... When we throw a stone upwards... When it reaches the top & don't move further up it's velocity becomes zero...
 But acceleration due to gravity (g = 9.8  m/s^{2} ) acts on the stone... So we can say that a body having zero velocity can still posses acceleration.....
