Can a body having zero velocity can still be accelerating..?

no because the rate of change of velocity is known as acceleration in this case how a zero velocity can be in acceleration

Throw a ball straight up. At its highest point, right when it stops to come back towards the earth, its velocity is zero -- but it has gravity's acceleration pulling it back down.
