Hey there,
Yes!! It can move ,if velocity is in horizontal direction.
Basically,if a body is moving with velocity v in any particular direction,then it moves in the direction of velocity even if acceleration is not in that direction till the velocity becomes 0.
Eg-in projectile the body continues to move in upward direction with some angle even gravity is in downward direction till the velocity becomes 0.
And , it moves horizontally even , acceleration in horizontal direction=0 and vertical direction=g
